When you request a quote or contact us: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, yacht name, company/management, port or berth, rental dates, job description and any photos you upload. When you message us on WhatsApp or email, the content of those messages.

To prepare and send quotations, organise delivery and collection, invoice, provide support, and follow up on your enquiry. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, performing the rental contract, and our legitimate interest in following up with professional clients. We never sell your data.

Only where needed to fulfil your request: our partner hub operating in your area (Rivamare Group, Yacht Sitter, YachtNest, Ship & Boat Service), our accountant, and service providers that run our tools (website hosting by Vercel, email by Google, messaging by WhatsApp/Meta, invoicing by Qonto, our internal database Airtable). Some of these providers are outside the EU and use standard contractual clauses. We use AI tools to help draft replies and quotations; a person at Yachtgear.pro remains responsible for them.

Enquiries that don't become a rental: 3 years from last contact. Client and invoicing records: 10 years (French accounting law). Photos: deleted once the job is closed unless needed for a damage claim.

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to its use, by emailing contact@yachtgear.pro. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
